Studying and practicing Buddhism since 2007. My other research interests focus on studying
mechanisms of epileptogenesis, with focuses primarily on defining alterations in the properties of
pathological high frequency oscillations (pHFO) as biomarkers of epileptogenesis after traumatic brain
injury. While working in the Laboratory of Gyuri Buzsaki, we described coupling between theta and
gamma activity, which is important for processes of learning and memory, as well as during development
of different neurological disorders. My current research interest is investigation of electrographic
correlates of different types mental activity based on the personal experience.
