When you donate to the Center for Contemplative Research, you provide an essential foundation for our mission to offer measured contemplative discoveries and tools for flourishing to the world. Give to support dedicated contemplatives-in-training, maintenance of our hermitages, and the managers and staff that make our growing impact possible through science and education. Even a small gift makes a big difference.
Your generous gift can apply toward three different areas:
1. General Fund
The most flexible category of giving, for us to apply to the most strategic areas of need at any given time.
Ghatika Monthly and Sustenance Campaign donations are applied to this category.
2. Cabin Construction
Supports the physical infrastructure of the CCR, including new construction, renovation, and maintenance.
Mind Lab Fund donations are applied to this category.
3. Retreatant Support
Appropriate if you’d like to give in support of a particular retreatant or to contribute to a fund that makes it possible for those in financial need to enter retreat at CCR.
Active Campaigns
For CCR’s to achieve its impact aims, it is imperative that we support and grow our team of full-time staff, who work tirelessly in support of the physical Mind Labs and the Research and Education programs. The CCR’s vision is long-term, and as such we need to craft an enduringly stable organizational setting. The Sustenance Match Campaign seeks to get us to operational stability. Help us meet our goal!
A “ghatika” is a 24-minute increment of meditation. Choose to give in increments of $24 to support CCR meditation teaching offerings and retreatant time spent doing the important work of exploring the mind. Monthly giving provides the reliable backbone to CCR operational stability. In giving monthly, you’ll receive a beautiful calendar. All are welcome to join our open Ghatika Monthly meditation sessions!
