CCR OBSERVATORY FUND

DONATE TO COMPLETE PHASE ONE

A perfectly conducive place for contemplative science is nearly impossible to find.

With your help, the CCR can be such a place.

CCR Crestone’s construction projects are underway but incomplete. Your contribution to the Observatory Fund will enable us to finish our first building phase and host a full cohort of contemplatives, teachers, scientists, and YOU, at this incredibly special Contemplative Research Observatory. Help us complete these projects this year!

These projects weave together the necessary elements for CCR’s mission to

Fathom the Mind. Heal the World.®

The CCR is carefully investing in its property, renovating existing cabins and creating a new one for our Spiritual Director. An intense construction season is well underway and the CCR needs additional funding to finish the projects and round out Phase One of the observatory, hopefully this year, including an exciting new cabin project where we can welcome short-term guests—potentially you!

  • Cabin 14: Tsogyal Latso
  • ANNOUNCING: Tidro Cave for short-term retreats

CCR’s Observatory Fund will also ensure the financial capacity to initiate important maintenance projects (chapel repair, roofing, septic maintenance, etc.) at its one-of-a-kind contemplative research observatory.

With your help, we can complete these projects rapidly, before the deep winter sets in!

Funds will first be applied toward expenses incurred for these projects in 2023, continuing in 2024 with enough raised.

TIDRO CAVE: WELCOMING YOU FOR SHORT RETREATS

The CCR is excited to announce that, upon successful fundraising for completion of the Spiritual Director’s Cabin and Tsogyal Latso, we will renovate one of our small, unoccupied cabins (currently in a state of severe disrepair) for short-term retreat.

This cabin will be available to reserve for your own retreat, so that you can experience the deep peace of our center and Crestone, practice among a silent community of dedicated contemplatives, and cultivate your own practice for the benefit of all. (Some previous training in meditation is required to ensure the best retreat experience; a brief application will be included.)

YOUR DONATION OF ANY AMOUNT TO THE OBSERVATORY FUND WILL ENTER YOU INTO A DRAWING TO WIN A ONE-WEEK STAY IN TIDRO CAVE.
