A perfectly conducive place for contemplative science is nearly impossible to find. With your help, the CCR can be such a place.
CCR Crestone’s construction projects are underway but incomplete. Your contribution to the Mind Lab Fund will enable us to finish our first building phase and host a full cohort of contemplatives, teachers, scientists, and YOU, at this incredibly special place.
Help us complete these projects!
Phase One: 58% Funded
The Mind Lab Fund, launched as the Observatory Fund in 2023, has contributed to funding major infrastructure projects at the CCR (see “Completed Projects” below). We continue to need funds to complete crucial development at CCR North America, and we are grateful for your contribution to ensuring a safe and stable environment for our contemplatives-in-training and staff.
Tidro Cave
Enough funding will launch a down-to-the-studs renovation for welcoming donors like YOU for short-term retreat.

Spiritual Director’s Cottage
We have completed the construction and furnishing of our most significant building project to date. This dwelling now hosts CCR founder B. Alan Wallace in retreat, teaching, and leadership presence, as he practices and guides in community with our group of dedicated contemplatives who are engaged in the important work of contemplative science.
The Spiritual Director’s Cottage was built with elegant simplicity, longevity, and environmental sustainability in mind. We look forward to welcoming other teachers and contemplatives to the cabin, when Dr. Wallace is not in retreat.

Tsogyal Latso
TsogyalLatso was uninhabitable and in a state of severe disrepair after decades of exposure to damaging elements. CCR’s dedicated crew was able to complete this project with expertise garnered from a previous similar total renovation. This dwelling now hosts one long-term resident contemplative-in-training at a time.
