The CCR needs your support to ensure it can maintain and grow staff, care for our hermitages and contemplatives-in-training, and conduct contemplative science and educational development toward utmost impact.

A generous donation has enabled us to begin this campaign with a $60,000 matching opportunity. Every dollar will be matched, and if we meet this goal, additional matching funds will unlock!

After four years of “startup mode” with a lean team of early volunteers and staff, we at the CCR have learned what it takes to maintain this important container for the profound work of the mind, to ensure both operational stability and careful, incremental growth.
The hard-won platform the CCR has built for such an ambitious mission—made possible through your generous support—must be sustained in order to see these endeavors through to fruition, through the sustenance of support from our donors.

Provide Sustenance
Your contribution will enable us to ensure our work of contemplative science by ensuring the support of:
- Living wages for our small but growing staff—including recent full-time hires into roles of Development and Operations Manager, Hermitage Caretaker, and Research & Education Director—without whom we cannot engage in consistent advancement of our mission.
- Increasing operational costs. Like other organizations, the CCR faces the effects of recent inflation, and particularly massive increases in property insurance costs in a nationwide insurance crisis.
The arc of impact is long
Progression along stages of advanced mind training is an extended process, akin to that of a graduate PhD program in its full-time commitment, intensity, and depth.
Studying the effects of contemplative training through research, and developing teaching offerings that are attuned both to the integrity of ancient wisdom traditions and the unique challenges of our time are also projects intended to take years and even decades.
Our fundraising efforts now are focused on creating a platform for endurance, so that the CCR can build its influence for as long as it takes to cultivate broader sustainability for our civilization, our natural world, and all beings within it.
